Wishes and Dreams

Today I dreamt of you again. It’s been quite some time since I’ve had a dream, as my sleep is scattered, and my dreams come few and far between. Even when I do dream, they are usually nothing I remember.  But today you were there,  not for just one dream, but the entire time I slept.  I didn’t want to wake,  as I knew it would stop and you would be gone.  As I was drifting off, I thought of you, wished you were here and so you were. Wishes do come true after all.

Sleep for Dreams

Night has come, its gentle shadows falling on us.
The stars sparkle in the light of the moon.
Night time is filled with magic and so it is now.
Close your eyes my love, rest gently now
Let the moon carry you to your sleep.
Dream sweetly and wait for me,
for I will come to you tonight with whispers.
Whispers of my love, softness of my touch.
Dream of my lips
as they brush across you cheek
and the warmth of my body next to yours.
Soon my love, I will be there.
Sleep now and wait for me.
